Live chat for your Tilda website
Add a chat to a website built on Tilda without a developer: one line of code in your site settings. Reply to customers from the dashboard, your phone, or with a reply in Telegram.
One line of code
Paste the code once — and the chat appears on every page of your site.
Site Settings → MoreReplies from Telegram
A message from your website arrives in a bot, you reply to it — and the customer sees your answer on the website.
Included in the free planLeads while you’re offline
The offline form collects a phone number, Telegram contact or email, so no inquiry from your landing page gets lost.
How to install the chat on Tilda
- Sign up for Talkoly and add your website — its name and domain.
- In your dashboard, open Settings → Websites → your website and copy the line of code. Your site number is already filled in.
- In Tilda, open your project and go to Site Settings → More → “HTML code for the HEAD section”.
- Paste the code and save.
- Republish all pages — use the “Publish all pages” button in the project settings. Without this, the code will only appear on pages you publish later.
- Open your website and click “Check installation” in your Talkoly dashboard.
The code looks like this — instead of ID there will be your site number:
<script src="https://talkoly.com/w.js" data-site="ID" async></script>
HEAD is the behind-the-scenes part of a page that visitors don’t see. The script is only “registered” there, and the widget itself loads after the main content, so your site won’t slow down.
Why add a chat to a Tilda website
Tilda is often used for landing pages and small stores: a ceramics studio, courses, home repairs, made-to-order clothing. A visitor scrolls the page, has a question — and a request form feels like too serious a step. Writing in a chat is easier: “Can I get the same one, but in blue?”
- Who’s on your site right now. See the page, city and traffic source — and message a visitor first.
- Files, photos and voice messages. A customer sends a photo of what they want — you reply with examples.
- Widget language. Ukrainian, English, Polish and more than ten other languages, or automatically in the visitor’s browser language — handy if your site serves customers abroad.
- Air raid mode. During an air raid alert in your region, the chat explains the delay and collects phone numbers. More about the chat during air raids.
If you run a store on Tilda, the Business plan lets you take monobank (a popular Ukrainian bank) or LiqPay payments right in the chat and add Nova Poshta (Ukraine’s largest delivery service) waybills.

Frequently asked questions
Why didn’t the chat appear on my Tilda site after I pasted the code?
Most often, the pages weren’t republished. Save the code in “HTML code for the HEAD section”, then publish all the pages of your project. After that, click “Check installation”.
Does the chat work on Tilda’s free plan?
Adding your own code in the site settings is available on Tilda’s paid plans. If you don’t see this option, check your Tilda plan.
Can I reply to customers from my phone?
Yes. The Talkoly dashboard installs on your phone like an app with push notifications, and you can also reply in the Telegram bot.
Can I add the chat to just one Tilda page?
Yes: instead of the site settings, add an “HTML code” block (T123) to the page you need, paste the code there and publish the page.
