Viber, Instagram and Facebook in one inbox with your website chat
Customers write in Viber, Instagram Direct, Messenger and your website chat. Gather every conversation in one Talkoly inbox — and reply from one place without missing anything.
One inbox
Messages from your website, Viber, Facebook Messenger and Instagram Direct — in one list of conversations.
Reply where they wrote
You reply in the dashboard, and the customer gets the message in their own messenger.
The whole team together
Handing a chat to a colleague, departments, tags and quick replies work for every channel.
Why gather your messengers in one place
When Viber is open on one phone, Instagram on another and the website chat in a browser, messages get lost. Someone on the team replied in Direct, someone else didn’t know and wrote again. The customer who was waiting in Viber went to a competitor.
In Talkoly, all these conversations land in the same inbox as your website live chat. You can see which operator has already taken a conversation, and the chat history is kept in one place.
Which channels you can connect
- Viber. Create a bot at partners.viber.com, copy its token (a secret key that connects services) and paste it in your Talkoly settings. Messages to the bot will appear in your inbox.
- Facebook Messenger and Instagram Direct. These connect through Meta: you need a page token, an app secret and a configured webhook (an address where Meta sends new messages automatically). Your Instagram account must be linked to a Facebook page.
- Telegram. Messages from your website chat arrive in a Telegram bot, and your reply goes to the customer on the site. More on the Telegram chat page.
The 24-hour rule in Facebook and Instagram
Meta lets businesses reply in Messenger and Instagram Direct within 24 hours of the customer’s last message. If that window has passed, your reply may not get through. So it pays to reply as fast as you can — and this is where one inbox with notifications on your phone helps: a message from Instagram won’t get lost among the others.
If no operators are available, the AI assistant on the Pro plan can take the first questions.
Messenger buttons in the widget
Separately from the inbox, the chat widget can show Telegram, Viber, WhatsApp and Instagram buttons. These are links: a customer who prefers a messenger can go there in one tap. Note: WhatsApp is only available as a link button — WhatsApp conversations don’t come into the Talkoly inbox.
How to connect your messengers
- Sign up and install the chat on your website.
- For Viber — create a bot at partners.viber.com and paste the token in the channel settings.
- For Messenger and Instagram — add the page token, app secret and webhook from your Meta account.
- Reply from the dashboard or the app on your phone — messages go to the customer’s messenger.
When the conversation gets to a purchase, you can send a monobank invoice or add a Nova Poshta waybill in the same inbox.
Frequently asked questions
Can I reply to Viber and Instagram customers from one dashboard?
Yes. Conversations from Viber, Facebook Messenger and Instagram Direct land in the Talkoly inbox together with your website chat, and your reply goes to the customer in the messenger they wrote from.
Is there a WhatsApp integration?
No, there’s no full WhatsApp integration. You can add a link button to your WhatsApp in the widget so customers can write to you there.
Why can’t I reply to a customer on Instagram?
Most likely, more than 24 hours have passed since the customer’s last message. Meta limits business replies after this window, so try to reply in Direct and Messenger faster.
