Payments in chat: monobank, LiqPay, pay in instalments
The customer has already agreed with your operator — don’t send them off to find the cart. Send an invoice right in the conversation, and a “✅ Paid” mark appears on its own as soon as the money arrives.
An invoice in the conversation
The operator enters the amount and what it’s for, and the customer gets a payment button right in the chat on your site.
“Paid” automatically
No need to ask for a screenshot of the receipt: as soon as the payment goes through, a mark appears in the conversation for you and the customer.
Money goes straight to the store
You connect your own monobank or LiqPay card payment account. Talkoly doesn’t hold your money and doesn’t stand in the middle.
How payments in chat work
A typical situation: a customer asks if something is in stock, the operator recommends a model and checks the size — and now you need the person to pay before they change their mind. A link that says “place your order on the site” often means a few more steps where the buyer can get distracted.
With Talkoly, the operator creates a monobank or LiqPay invoice right in the conversation. monobank is a popular Ukrainian online bank, and LiqPay is PrivatBank’s payment service. The customer taps the button, pays the usual way, and “✅ Paid” appears in the chat automatically. The operator sees it in the same conversation and can start shipping right away — for example, add a Nova Poshta waybill.
- No manual checking. The payment status arrives on its own; no need to look for the payment in your bank statement.
- No switching between tabs. The invoice, payment and confirmation are all in one conversation.
- Handy for prepayments. You can send an invoice for part of the amount, for example a prepayment for a made-to-order item.
Your own payment account: money doesn’t pass through Talkoly
Each store connects its own details for accepting card payments (this is called acquiring): a monobank acquiring token or LiqPay keys. The payment goes from the customer straight to the store’s account, on your bank’s terms. Talkoly only creates the invoice and shows its status in the chat.
How to get a monobank token. If you’re a sole proprietor (FOP) or a company (TOV) with a monobank account and online acquiring turned on, log in to the web dashboard at web.monobank.ua, open the acquiring section and generate a token. If you don’t have acquiring yet, set it up with the bank first. LiqPay keys are in your store settings in your LiqPay account.
Pay in instalments and fiscal receipts
On the Pro plan, you can offer pay-in-instalments through monobank and PrivatBank in the chat — this helps with pricier items when the customer hesitates because of the amount. The same plan includes Checkbox fiscal receipts (Checkbox is a Ukrainian online receipt service): a receipt is created for the payment taken in the chat.
The full list of features in each plan is on the pricing page. For the first 14 days after sign-up, every Pro feature works, no card needed.
