A dashboard app with push notifications or a Telegram bot: you reply to the message, and the customer sees your answer on the site.
Installing on OpenCart 3
OCMOD is OpenCart’s standard format for extensions: a zip archive that adds code to your store without you touching any files.
- Sign up for Talkoly and add your store.
- In your dashboard: Settings → Sites → your site → “OpenCart module”. The talkoly.ocmod.zip archive will download — or right now: ⬇ download the module.
- In the OpenCart admin panel: Extensions → Installer → “Upload” → choose the archive.
- Extensions → Modifications → the blue “Refresh” button in the top right corner.
- Open your store and click “Check installation” in your Talkoly dashboard.
Installing on OpenCart 4 and 2
There’s no extension for these versions, but one line of code is enough. Copy it in your Talkoly dashboard: it already has your site ID. It looks like this:
<script src="https://talkoly.com/w.js" data-site="ID" async></script>
- OpenCart admin panel → Design → Theme Editor.
- Open the common/footer template.
- Paste the code before </body> and click “Save”.
- Check the installation with the button in your Talkoly dashboard.
The widget loads after the main content of the page, so it doesn’t affect your store’s speed. Guides for other platforms are on the chat installation page.
What an OpenCart store gets
- Products from your feed. On the Business plan, connect a feed (a file with your products and prices) in Google Merchant, Prom, Rozetka or Horoshop format — operators can send product cards in the conversation, and the chat shows products to customers who are waiting.
- Payments in the conversation. A monobank or LiqPay invoice through your own card payment account; after payment, “✅ Paid” appears in the chat.
- Nova Poshta waybills (TTN) with delivery status right in the chat. Nova Poshta is Ukraine’s largest delivery service.
- Who’s on your site right now: page, city, traffic source — you can message a visitor first.
- Offline form collects a phone number, Telegram or email when no operators are available.
- “Air raid” and “Power cut” modes explain reply delays to customers.
How to reply to customers
Once the extension is installed, every conversation from your store lands in the Talkoly dashboard. You can reply in three ways — pick one or combine them:
- Dashboard in your browser with chat history, quick replies and customer contacts.
- Dashboard app on your phone, installed from the browser, with push notifications.
- Telegram bot. A message arrives in the bot, you reply to it, and photos go both ways. You can also connect your own bot made with @BotFather.
If you run several OpenCart stores, the Business plan lets up to 3 sites and 3 operators work in one dashboard.
